Rebel Princess | A Carrie Fisher TributeA Carrie Fisher Tribute

Welcome to Rebel Princess, A Carrie Fisher Tribute Fansite. I've been a fan of Carrie for 40 years as an actress, an author, and as a mental health advocate. My heart broke when she died last year. She was bigger than life, so witty and smart, so outspoken and powerful, a spirit burning brighter that the stars. A true hero to us all.

This site is a current work in process. I intend to have it as complete as possible but it will take some time so please follow our social media for updates. And drop by the memorial page to leave your thoughts about Carrie.

Privacy & Respect Policy

Rebel Princess is dedicated to admiring Carrie Fisher as an Actress, Writer, and Person in the most respectful way possible. We do not post, support or promote gossip relating to her personal life or her death unless it is statements released by the family officially. This site will not offer paparazzi photography (photos taken by paparazzi at airports, out and about in cities, etc) of Carrie or her family. While we understand that fans may be interested in seeing candids and personal photos, I do not believe in invading a persons’ privacy. Carrie and her family had/has the right to a privacy which is away from media speculation and public intrusion. The pictures of her memorial will not include the private funeral, only the public memorial. It will not include family and friends privately mourning Carrie as they walk to and from her home or their car. It will not intrude on Billie Lourd and her grief in any way.

No news on Carrie’s past personal life or relationships will be posted on this site unless it was something Carrie openly talked about. We will provide photos from events as these are public. We may also post behind the scenes and on set photos from Carrie’s’s TV Shows and Films, however if Carrie’s management requests them to be removed, they will be immediately. The only “Personal” photos that will be added to the gallery are those Carrie posted on her twitter / retweets or her castmates, friend, or family post on their twitters/instagrams. If they requests these be removed, they will be immediately. The family photos in the gallery were professional photos taken and released to the public, not paparazzi photos, as far as I know. If any of those photos or any other photos in the gallery were actually private photos and the family asks me to remove them I will certainly do so.

We hope Carrie’s fans can support this policy. Thank you.
